Reading the Arabic you paste
- Script
- Arabic script, written right to left, letters joined; short vowels usually not written.
- Numbers
- Gulf countries often use Eastern Arabic digits (١, ٢, ٣); North Africa uses 0–9.
- Mixed text
- Gulf speech mixes in English and, in workplaces, Hindi and Urdu words.
- Names
- Names often include "bin" or "ibn" (son of) and a family name.
From Arabic to English
- Politeness
- Arabic has anta (to a man), anti (to a woman) and antum (plural); formal Arabic is used in writing; English has a single "you", so the translation carries politeness with words like "please", "sir" or "ma'am".
- Sentence order
- Arabic often starts with the verb and English puts the verb after the subject, so sentences are rebuilt, not swapped word for word.
- Where it comes from
- Arabic is spoken across the Middle East and North Africa, including the Gulf where many Indian workers live.
Example
You paste (Arabic):
تفضلوا تجدون مرفقاً الفاتورة لشهر سبتمبر. يجب الدفع خلال 30 يوماً.
You read (English):
Please find attached the invoice for September. Payment is due within 30 days.

Questions
Is the Arabic to English translator free?
Yes — up to 5,000 characters, 5 times a day, no sign-up.
Are names, dates and amounts kept?
The translator keeps names and figures as they are, but machine translation can slip — check dates and amounts against the original before you send.
Will a polite Arabic message stay polite in English?
It aims to: English has no separate polite "you", so the respect shows in the wording instead. Read it once before you send something important.
Can I paste Arabic typed in Roman letters?
Yes. Arabic typed on a phone in Roman letters, or mixed with English, is translated as a whole into English.
