Questions
Is the image to text tool really free?
Yes, with no sign-up: one JPG, PNG or WebP image up to 5 MB, up to 5 times a day. To keep the tool free for everyone it has a daily limit; if it is reached, it is back the next day. Get Pro (₹299/month or ₹2,990/year) to save photo text as a note, translated and summarised, and ask across all your notes — e.g. "When is the property-tax deadline?"
Does it read handwriting?
It is built for printed and typed text — notices, screenshots, documents. Clear handwriting sometimes works, but we do not promise it.
Is my image stored?
The free tool sends the image to be read and returns the text; it does not save the image to an account. Inside hearlog, notes are stored encrypted at rest and each account can only read its own notes.
What do I get if I sign up?
A free account gives you 300 minutes a month to record or upload lectures, meetings and calls, with transcripts, five summary styles, translation into 50+ languages and folders. Pro (₹299/month) adds text from YouTube, photos and PDFs straight into your notes, and one question across all your recordings.
