How it works
- Choose the Arabic voice note or clip — up to 3 minutes
- We write down what was said, then translate it into English — usually in under a minute
- Copy or download both as a TXT file
Listening to Arabic
- How it sounds
- Spoken dialects (Gulf, Egyptian, Levantine) differ a lot from written Modern Standard Arabic.
- Mixed speech
- Gulf speech mixes in English and, in workplaces, Hindi and Urdu words — the transcript keeps it as it was said before it is translated.
- Sentence order
- Arabic often starts with the verb and English puts the verb after the subject, so sentences are rebuilt, not swapped word for word.
- Where it is spoken
- Arabic is spoken across the Middle East and North Africa, including the Gulf where many Indian workers live.
What changes in English
- Politeness
- Arabic has anta (to a man), anti (to a woman) and antum (plural); formal Arabic is used in writing; in English it becomes "you", with the respect carried by the wording.
- Numbers
- Numbers said in Arabic come out as figures (0–9) in the English.
Example
What was said (Arabic):
مرحباً، معكِ ماريا. سأتأخر عشر دقائق، يُرجى بدء الاجتماع بدوني.
You read (English):
Hello, this is Maria. I will be ten minutes late, please start the meeting without me.

Questions
Is translating Arabic audio to English free?
Yes — clips up to 3 minutes and 25 MB, 3 times a day, no sign-up.
Will it follow a Arabic speaker with a strong accent?
Clear audio with one speaker at a time works best. Strong regional accents and background noise can cause mistakes, so check names and numbers against the recording.
Do I get the Arabic transcript too?
Yes — what was said in Arabic first, then the English.
