How it works
- Choose the Bengali voice note or clip — up to 3 minutes
- We write down what was said, then translate it into Hindi — usually in under a minute
- Copy or download both as a TXT file
Listening to Bengali
- How it sounds
- Dhaka and Kolkata speech differ in words and accent; Sylheti and Chittagonian are very different spoken forms.
- Mixed speech
- Banglish — English words in Bangla speech, and Bangla typed in Roman script on phones — the transcript keeps it as it was said before it is translated.
- Sentence order
- Bengali and Hindi both put the verb at the end, so most sentences keep their shape; idioms still need rewording.
- Where it is spoken
- Bengali is spoken in Bangladesh and in West Bengal, Tripura and Assam in India.
Reading it in Hindi
- Script
- Devanagari, written left to right, with a line along the top of each word and no capital letters.
- Numbers
- Devanagari digits (१, २, ३) exist, but most printed and typed Hindi uses 0–9.
- Saying "you"
- Hindi has three ways of saying "you": aap (respectful), tum (familiar) and tu (very close or rude).
Example
What was said (Bengali (Bangla)):
স্যার বলেছেন পরীক্ষা শুক্রবার। ৪ এবং ৫ নম্বর অধ্যায়গুলো রিভিশন দাও এবং ক্যালকুলেটর নিয়ে এসো।
You read (Hindi):
सर ने कहा है कि परीक्षा शुक्रवार को है। अध्याय 4 और 5 का रिवीजन करो और कैलकुलेटर लेकर आओ।

Questions
Is translating Bengali audio to Hindi free?
Yes — clips up to 3 minutes and 25 MB, 3 times a day, no sign-up.
Will it follow a Bengali speaker with a strong accent?
Clear audio with one speaker at a time works best. Strong regional accents and background noise can cause mistakes, so check names and numbers against the recording.
Do I get the Bengali transcript too?
Yes — what was said in Bengali first, then the Hindi.
