Reading the Arabic you paste
- Arabic
- Arabic is written right to left, and Gulf notices often write numbers in Arabic-Indic digits (٠١٢٣٤) — check that every date and amount came across correctly.
- Malayalam script
- Malayalam script, written left to right, with rounded letters and many joined (conjunct) letters.
- Numbers
- Malayalam digits exist, but 0–9 is standard.
- Names
- In Malayalam text, many names include a family house name (Thekkekara Joseph).
What you get in Malayalam
- Saying "you"
- Malayalam has ningal (respectful or plural) and nee (familiar); Arabic's "you" changes for a man, a woman or a group, not for politeness, so read the tone of the Malayalam once before you reply.
- Sentence order
- Arabic often starts with the verb and Malayalam puts the verb at the end, so sentences are rebuilt, not swapped word for word.
- Who reads it
- Malayalam is spoken in Kerala and Lakshadweep, and by many Gulf workers from Kerala.
Example
You paste (Arabic):
يبدأ العمل في الساعة 6 صباحاً غداً بسبب الحرارة. ستقلك الحافلة في تمام الساعة 5:15.
You read (Malayalam):
ചൂട് കാരണം നാളെ ജോലി രാവിലെ 6 മണിക്ക് ആരംഭിക്കും. ബസ് കൃത്യം 5:15-ന് നിങ്ങളെ കൂട്ടിക്കൊണ്ടുപോകും.

Questions
Is the Arabic to Malayalam translator free?
Yes — up to 5,000 characters, 5 times a day, no sign-up.
Are names, dates and amounts kept?
The translator keeps names and figures as they are, but machine translation can slip — check dates and amounts against the original before you send.
Will the Malayalam sound polite?
Arabic's "you" changes for a man, a woman or a group, not for politeness, so the translator picks the Malayalam form from the wording — read it once before you reply to an employer or an officer.
Can I paste Arabic mixed with English words?
Yes. Mixed text is translated as a whole; everyday English words that Malayalam readers also use can stay as they are.
