Turn a 3-minute class recording or voice memo into text — free, no sign-up

Choose an audio file and get the words back in the language that was spoken, Hinglish kept as it was said. Hinglish stays Hinglish. The text appears right here, ready to copy or save as a TXT — no email, no waiting list. The text is usually ready in under a minute.

Up to 3 minutes and 25 MB. 3 free uses a day.

    How it works

    1. Choose an audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG)
    2. Your browser reads it and sends only the audio
    3. Copy the text or download a TXT — sign up free for files up to 100 minutes

    Example

    You give:

A 2-minute voice memo after a client meeting

    You get:

Example: “Mehta ji wants the dashboard demo on Friday. Send him the revised timeline today and the September invoice before the 25th.”

    Questions

    Is it really free?

Yes, with no sign-up: one audio file up to 3 minutes long, 3 times a day. To keep it free for everyone there is also a daily limit for all visitors; if it is reached, the tool is back the next day. Sign up free for files up to 100 minutes.

    Which languages does it understand?

Every major Indian language — Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Bengali, Marathi and more — plus 50+ world languages. Mixed speech such as Hinglish is written the way it was spoken. Powered by Google Gemini. Check names and numbers before you share the text.

    Which formats work?

MP3, M4A, WAV, OGG and Opus, and most other formats your browser can play. The audio is read in your browser first, so very unusual formats may not open — Chrome reads the most.

    Is my audio stored?

The free tool sends the audio to be transcribed and returns the text; it does not save the audio or the text to an account. Inside hearlog, notes are stored encrypted at rest and each account can read only its own notes.

What do I get if I sign up?

A free account gives you 300 minutes a month for files up to 100 minutes each, with transcripts, speaker labels, five summary styles, translation into 50+ languages and 2 folders. Pro (₹299/month or ₹2,990/year) adds 2-hour files and one question across all your recordings.
