Friday afternoon, after the photosynthesis class

Mr. Rao teaches Class 9 science in English, but half his students read Telugu more easily. He records Friday's class on his laptop, picks "Lecture notes", and translates the notes into Telugu. Then he asks hearlog to quiz him with 10 questions on the class, checks the answers, and exports both the notes and the quiz as a PDF for the class WhatsApp group. (An illustration of how the app works, not a real customer.)

    Record → ask → get

    1. 1 · Record or upload

Record in the browser while you teach — it keeps going if the school Wi-Fi drops — or upload the MP3 from your phone later. Free files can be up to 100 minutes.

    2. 2 · Get notes, then translate

Pick "Lecture notes" for the transcript and notes with headings and key terms. Translate them into your students' language in one tap.

    3. 3 · Make a quiz and share

Tap "Quiz me (10 questions)" or "Make flashcards" (Pro). Export the notes as PDF or Word, or copy them into the class group.

    Example

You ask: “Quiz me (10 questions)”

Example answer: "1. Where in the leaf does photosynthesis happen? 2. Which gas do plants take in during photosynthesis? ... 10. Why do leaves look green? Answers: 1. Chloroplasts ... (Source: Class 9 Science, 14 Nov)"

    You ask: “Explain in Telugu”

Example answer: A short, simple explanation of the class in Telugu, with the science terms kept in English where your students know them that way. (Source: Class 9 Science, 14 Nov)

You ask: “Summarize all selected on one topic: food chains”

Example answer: "Producers, consumers and decomposers were covered in Class 9 Science, 12 Nov; how energy passes along the chain came up in Class 9 Science, 19 Nov."

Examples show what chat does with your own recordings; the answers depend on what was said in your classes. Check a quiz before you hand it out.

One question across the whole unit

Keep a folder per class or chapter — "Class 9 Science", "Unit 3: Life Processes" — and ask it anything. hearlog reads every recording in the folder and names the class each point came from, so you can build a revision sheet or an end-of-unit quiz. Folders are free; asking across recordings is Pro.

    • Quiz me (10 questions)
    • Make flashcards
    • Where was ___ discussed, and in which recording?
    • Summarize all selected on one topic
    • Explain in ___
