How it works
- Choose the Arabic voice note or clip — up to 3 minutes
- We write down what was said, then translate it into Tamil — usually in under a minute
- Copy or download both as a TXT file
From Arabic speech
- Sentence order
- Arabic often starts with the verb and Tamil puts the verb at the end, so sentences are rebuilt, not swapped word for word.
Reading it in Tamil
- Script
- Tamil script, written left to right, with fewer letters than most Indian scripts — one letter can stand for several sounds.
- Numbers
- Tamil digits exist, but are rare; 0–9 is used almost everywhere.
- Saying "you"
- Tamil has neenga / neengal (respectful or plural) and nee (familiar).
- Names
- In Tamil, names often carry an initial for the father's name (K. Ramesh) instead of a surname.
- Everyday words
- Tanglish — English words in Tamil speech, very common in offices and colleges.
- Who reads it
- Tamil is spoken in Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Sri Lanka, Singapore and Malaysia.

வெப்பநிலை காரணமாக நாளை காலை 6 மணிக்கு வேலை தொடங்குகிறது. பேருந்து உங்களை சரியாக 5:15 மணிக்கு அழைத்துச் செல்லும்.

It aims to — a respectful message should read as respectful to a Tamil reader. Machine translation can slip, so check names and figures against the recording.
