A two-hour law workshop, one note

A trainer in Delhi records an hour-and-fifty-minute Hindi-English workshop on limitation periods for junior advocates. On the free plan that file is over the 100-minute limit; on Pro it goes up as one file and comes back as one note with the transcript and workshop notes, ready to share with attendees. Record → ask → get

    1. 1 · Upload the whole file

MP3, M4A, WAV and other audio up to 2 hours and 300 MB. You can watch the progress while long files are processed in parts.

    2. 2 · Get one note

The parts are joined into one transcript with a summary in the style you pick — lecture notes, meeting notes, key points and more.

    3. 3 · Ask it

Ask the two-hour recording a question, or put it in a folder with the rest of the course or case and ask them all.

    Example

You ask: “Summarize all selected on one topic: limitation periods”

Example answer: “The trainer covered limitation periods twice: once in the first hour on civil suits, and again near the end on appeals (Source: Workshop morning session).”

    You ask: “Make flashcards”

Example answer: “Q: Under the Limitation Act, 1963, what is the limitation period for a suit on a promissory note? A: Three years (Source: Workshop morning session).” — one card per key point.

    Long recordings belong in folders

A course of 2-hour lectures or a case of long hearings is where asking across recordings saves the most time. Put them in one folder and ask it anything.

    • Where was ___ discussed, and in which recording?
    • Summarize all selected on one topic
    • Build a timeline
    • Quiz me (10 questions)

    What else Pro adds

    • Chat across all your recordings or a whole folder, with sources named.
    • Up to 10 files at once, each becoming its own note.
    • Text from photos, PDFs and YouTube videos.

    Questions

What is the longest file I can upload?

On Pro, a single file can be up to 2 hours long and up to 300 MB. On the free plan the limit is 100 minutes and 100 MB per file. If a recording is longer than 2 hours, split it into two files.

How many minutes do I get on Pro?

Pro includes 1,200 minutes of transcription a month (20 hours); the free plan includes 300. If you need more in a month, you can request extra hours from the app and we review each request.

What happens with a long file on the free plan?

hearlog tells you the file is over the free limit and by how much, and nothing is transcribed. You can upgrade to Pro, or trim the recording to 100 minutes and upload it again.

Does a long file take long to process?

Long files are processed in parts, one after another, and you can watch the progress. It is a short wait for most recordings; the longer the file, the longer the wait.
