How it works
- Choose the English voice note or clip — up to 3 minutes
- We write down what was said, then translate it into Marathi — usually in under a minute
- Copy or download both as a TXT file
From English speech
- Sentence order
- English puts the verb after the subject and Marathi puts the verb at the end, so sentences are rebuilt, not swapped word for word.
Reading it in Marathi
- Script
- Devanagari, the same script as Hindi, with a few extra letters such as ळ.
- Numbers
- Devanagari digits are used in some print; 0–9 is common.
- Saying "you"
- Marathi has tumhi (respectful or plural) and tu (familiar).
- Names
- In Marathi, names follow the pattern first name + father's name + surname (Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar).
- Everyday words
- Mumbai and Pune speech mixes in Hindi and English words.
- Who reads it
- Marathi is spoken in Maharashtra and Goa.
Example
What was said (English):
Beta, I have sent the money for the hostel fee. Call me when you get it.
You read (Marathi):
बेटा, मी हॉस्टेल फी चे पैसे पाठवले आहेत. मिळाल्यावर मला फोन कर.

Questions
Is translating English audio to Marathi free?
Yes — clips up to 3 minutes and 25 MB, 3 times a day, no sign-up.
Will the Marathi keep the speaker's tone?
It aims to — a respectful message should read as respectful to a Marathi reader. Machine translation can slip, so check names and figures against the recording.
Do I get the English transcript too?
Yes — what was said in English first, then the Marathi.
